Hard-Fought Battle at Fenway!

Tonight was one of those games that kept Red Sox Nation on the edge of their seats, despite the heartbreaking 4-3 loss to the Mariners. As a Boston fan 🍀, the passion and fight from our Sox were evident, even if the final score wasn't in our favor. Our beloved Alex Bregman did his part, belting a solo homer in the first inning and bringing Jarren Duran home in the third to keep us in the game 💪.

Mariners Strike Early

The Mariners jumped ahead with two runs in the top of the first, thanks to a clutch double by Mitch Garver that brought in Randy Arozarena and Dylan Moore. Our bullpen worked hard but struggled to contain their bats as they snuck in a couple more in the second. Not the start we hoped for, but true to our Boston spirit, we fought back fiercely!

Bregman and Narvaez Give Sox Fans Hope

The spark of hope for our comeback flickered when Carlos Narváez sent a soaring homer into the Fenway stands in the eighth inning 🔥. Adding his solo shot to Bregman's earlier display of power, we closed the gap to just one run. However, despite our efforts in the bottom of the ninth - with Triston Casas earning a walk and Romy Gonzalez stepping in as a pinch runner - Kristian Campbell struck out to end the game, sealing the Mariners' narrow victory.

While a win evaded us today, the energy in Fenway was palpable, and our Sox showed their determination as always. Let's regroup and come back stronger! Go Sox! ❤️⚾
