Explosive Start in the 1st Inning!
Wow, what a game! The Mariners absolutely dominated from the get-go in this one. We started off with a strong showing in the top of the 1st inning. After Victor Robles grounded out, Cal Raleigh doubled to right, and Jorge Polanco walked. A pickoff error by White Sox pitcher Thorpe allowed Raleigh to advance to third, setting the stage. Mitch Haniger walked too, but it was Jason Vosler who really got us on the board with a 2-RBI single. The hits kept on coming as Mitch Garver doubled to left and drove in another run. Then, Josh Rojas blasted a three-run homer, and Dylan Moore followed with another solo homer. To cap it off, Robles hit a solo shot to left. By the time the inning ended, we were up 8-0. Let's go Mariners!Maintaining the Lead
The pitching and defense were just as impressive. Our pitchers were lights out! Kirby held the White Sox scoreless and prevented them from gaining any momentum. The Mariners' offense didn't stop in the 4th inning. Polanco smacked a two-run homer, making it a staggering 10-0! Our defense was tight too, with Robert Jr. striking out twice and the White Sox unable to capitalize on their few hits.Closing it Out
The Mariners kept White Sox hitters at bay throughout the rest of the game. Solid pitching changes, including Thornton and Speier, ensured the White Sox stayed scoreless. The Mariners didn't add more runs but didn't need to; our early lead was more than enough. Big shoutout to the bullpen for sealing the deal efficiently. The game ended with a satisfying 10-0 victory, a testament to our explosive offense and rock-solid defense.
