A Winning Start in Cincinnati
What a fantastic start to our series against the Cincinnati Reds!
Our Seattle Mariners took to the field by storm and clinched a brilliant victory with a solid 5-3 score. From the get-go, Julio RodrĂguez showed his hustle, reaching first on an error by their shortstop and eventually scoring off a double by Randy Arozarena. Our pitchers really brought the heat today! An impressive performance from our bullpen, racking up strikeout after strikeout against their lineup. But we can't overlook the stellar hitting by our guys — particularly Cal Raleigh. With not one but two home runs, Raleigh was on fire and really lit up the game for us. Those blasts to right center and then to left added two crucial runs to our tally.Sealing the Victory
Despite a nervy moment in the 7th inning when the Reds threatened with a few runs, our defense and some clutch pitching closed the door on their comeback hopes. Andrés Muñoz came in to seal the deal in the 9th, making quick work of their batters with the poise and precision we're proud of. A expert defensive effort and timely hits together brought this victory home. Let's keep this winning momentum going, Mariners fans!
