What a Comeback!

🎉 What a thrilling game for our Seattle Mariners! The match against the Cincinnati Reds showcased what true grit and determination look like, with the Mariners clawing back to secure an 11-7 victory. Initially, the Reds took the lead in the first inning with a two-run homer. But in typical Mariners fashion, our boys never lost stride.

Raley and Raleigh Deliver

In the top of the 4th inning, Luke Raley went deep to right field, bringing in two crucial runs and leveling the score. Our momentum continued in the 5th inning, with an explosive rally initiated by Julio Rodríguez and Jorge Polanco. We capitalized on fielding errors by the Reds, scoring two more runs. And let's not forget Cal Raleigh, who demonstrated tactical brilliance by stealing second base!

Going the Distance

The 7th and 8th innings brought some nervous moments when the Reds regained the lead with a grand slam from Jake Fraley. But our Mariners never gave up. An electric 9th inning saw Cal Raleigh and Randy Arozarena crush solo homers that leveled the score, sending the game into extra innings. 🌟

Extra Innings, Extra Heart!

The top of the 10th inning witnessed a masterclass performance: Miles Mastrobuoni's hustle led to a crucial error by the Reds' pitcher, allowing Dylan Moore to score. J.P. Crawford followed up with an RBI single. The cherry on top was Randy Arozarena's double, scoring two, and another outstanding effort from Donovan Solano, driving in the final run.

Our closer, Andrés Muñoz, sealed the deal in the bottom of the 10th, ensuring the Reds couldn't mount another comeback.

What a stupendous display of resilience! The Mariners once again showed why they are a force to be reckoned with this season. Onto the next one, Mariners fans! 💪🔵🟢
