Early Struggles Yet Promising Moments
In the first few innings, the Mariners slowly chipped away. Donovan Solano made his mark with a triple that scored Jorge Polanco. Despite that, our Riley Greene and Zach McKinstry showed us sparks of potential, each landing hits to bring us to a thrilling tie in the 4th inning
A Tough Conclusion
Entering the 5th inning at 1-1, it was anyone's game. However, despite a spirited defense and the reliable swings of our offensive lineup, the Mariners pulled ahead with a home run by Julio Rodríguez and later expanded their lead with another home run in the 8th by Cal Raleigh. Into the 9th, a relentless rally by the Mariners proved difficult to counter as errors bogged us down, resulting in a tough 12-3 final score.Though today's game was challenging, let's not forget the highlights and tenacity our Tigers continue to display
