An Explosive Finish in Detroit! Mariners Triumph 8-4
What a thrilling game, Mariners fans!
The Seattle Mariners pulled off an incredible 8-4 victory over the Detroit Tigers, and there were some epic moments to savor. In the early innings, it seemed like the Tigers had the upper hand, but our boys came back swinging and made it a game to remember. 
Early Setbacks and a Tight Battle
The game started with some tense moments. We had a promising start in the first inning, loading the bases with no outs. However, a double play ended our hopes of scoring. Things took a turn with the Tigers' Dillon Dingler hitting a double to bring in two runs, putting us behind 2-0. Our bats were quiet until the third, when Julio Rodríguez smashed a homer to right, cutting the lead to 2-1. That moment truly ignited our fighting spirit.
Heroics in the Later Innings
The fourth inning saw Randy Arozarena even the score with a majestic 405-foot homer. From then on, it was a neck-and-neck battle. Mitch Garver cranked a homer in the seventh to give us a slim lead, but the Tigers fought back, tying it at 4. The top of the ninth was simply magical! Jorge Polanco and Cole Young both blasted home runs, while Rodríguez and Cal Raleigh capitalized on some shaky Tigers' defense to widen our lead. Give it up for the Mariners' bullpen, who kept the Tigers scoreless after the seventh.
Sea of Victory in the Motor City
Andrés Muñoz shut down the Tigers in the ninth, securing our 8-4 victory. It was a night of power and resilience for our Mariners.
