Houston Seals the Win Over Seattle
What a rollercoaster of emotions!

Early Inning Battle
The first inning wasn't the ideal start we hoped for, with the Mariners jumping to a 2-0 lead. Mitch Garver dealt us an early blow, driving in two runs with a double. But hold your heads high, Astros fans, because our defense held strong afterward, preventing further damage despite some tense bases loaded situations. Our bats didn't come alive immediately as Jeremy Peña and Isaac Paredes got some solid hits, but we were kept off the scoreboard after the first inning.
Chipping Away at the Lead
The third inning finally saw Christian Walker and the team responding to the Mariners' challenge. Our first baseman brought in the first run, driving in Isaac Paredes, followed by a gritty sacrifice fly from Victor Caratini, narrowing the Mariners' lead to 3-2. Slowly but surely, our Astros were crawling back into the game! The major turning point came in the sixth inning when Cam Smith showed his mettle, doubling and bringing home Jake Meyers to finally tie the game at 3-3.

Walker Seals the Deal with Bomb
As the game remained locked in a nail-biting tie, Christian Walker emerged as the hero of the night. After a critical single by José Altuve in the bottom of the 9th, Walker delivered a clutch homer into left field, sending the fans into a frenzy and scoring the decisive two runs that claimed victory for the Astros.

Let's take a moment to appreciate the monumental efforts of our bullpen who kept us in the game, especially Nick King and Tanner King, quelling the Mariners' bats and paving the way for us to rally.
This was a team effort, a display of determination and resilience that makes us proud to sport our Astros caps! Looking forward to more wins like this. Go Astros!
