Final Score: Mariners 7, Astros 3 🎉

What an electrifying game from our Seattle Mariners as they sealed a commanding victory over the Houston Astros with a 7-3 win! The early innings brought the heat, and our boys never looked back. It was a collective team effort that kept the Astros at bay and secured this pivotal win.

Powerful Offense in the 2nd Inning ☄️

The top of the 2nd inning was the turning point, and our Mariners took full advantage of the opportunity. After a couple of singles by Josh Naylor and Jorge Polanco, followed by a hit from Eugenio Suárez, we were able to load the bases. Dominic Canzone grounded into a fielder's choice, but it was Victor Robles who walked and got Polanco home, putting the Mariners on the board. J.P. Crawford then blasted a homer to right field, scoring three, followed by a homer from Cal Raleigh that drove in Randy Arozarena. Five runs in the inning brought the score to an impressive 7-0 lead 🏆.

Solid Defense and Pitching 🔥

Our defense was rock solid, and the pitching staff did an outstanding job. Jose Altuve hit a double and later singled, contributing to a couple of Astros runs, but our pitchers, particularly starting pitcher Gilbert, held strong through critical moments. The bullpen, including Ferguson, Vargas, and Brash, came in clutch to maintain the lead. Astros’ attempt at a comeback was neutralized with effective inning closures.

Overall, our Mariners showcased a great blend of offense, fielding, and pitching. The victory over the Astros fuels our momentum going forward. Way to go Seattle! 💙⚾💚
