A Tough Loss for the Royals
Well, folks, it was a challenging night for our Kansas City Royals as we faced off against the Seattle Mariners.
Despite our hopes, we couldn't quite get any runs across, ending with a 2-0 defeat. Our Royals showed some flashes of brilliance, but the Mariners pitching was a tough nut to crack.Promising Starts but No Follow Through
In the second inning, Salvador Perez managed a single, and Adam Frazier's single pushed Perez to second, giving us a brief glimmer of hope. Unfortunately, it didn't materialize into any runs. While the Mariners managed to get on the board early in the 2nd inning, our pitching generally held strong—especially in key moments like when Carlos Hernandez pitched us out of a jam with a strikeout.
