Initial Spark from Trout
Hey, Angels fans!
Tonight's game had its moments of excitement, especially early on. In the bottom of the 1st inning, Mike Trout got us going with a solid double to left. With Nolan Schanuel stepping up, he delivered with an RBI single to bring Trout home. What a way to show the Mariners who's boss right off the bat! 
Angels 1, Mariners 0.The Middle Inning Struggle
Our defense was on fire, with Kikuchi keeping the Mariners at bay for the first few innings. However, in the top of the 5th inning, the Mariners found their rhythm. Julio Rodríguez's solo homer tied it up, and then Randy Arozarena added salt to the wound with a two-run homer, putting the Mariners ahead 3-1. Ugh, tough inning!

A Glimmer of Hope
We had a chance to rally in the 7th inning when Luis Rengifo scored on a single by Zach Neto, bringing us closer at 3-2. However, Mariners' Jorge Polanco extended their lead in the 8th with yet another homer. Despite our efforts, particularly Trout’s patience at the plate and Schanuel’s early efforts, it wasn't enough to seal the deal. The game concluded with a 4-2 loss.
Regardless of the final score, let's keep our heads up high and show support for our team through thick and thin! Go Angels!
