An Early Spark and a Fighting Finish! ⚾️

What an exciting game it was! Our Los Angeles Angels came through with a thrilling 3-2 victory over the Seattle Mariners, all thanks to a game that had us on the edge of our seats till the very end.

Ward's Mighty Swing 💪

The home run by Taylor Ward in the bottom of the 1st inning set the tone for a competitive game. A massive 397-foot blast to center field – what a way to start! It had us all pumped up! Neto followed up with a walk, but we couldn’t capitalize further in that inning. Still, being on the board first felt great.

A Steady Defense and a Power Hit 🛡️

Things got tense in the top of the 2nd inning when Luke Raley responded with a solo home run for the Mariners, tying the game at 1-1. And then it got tougher in the 3rd, with a sacrifice fly that put the Mariners ahead 2-1.

Our defense stood strong after that though!
Middle of the 4th inning saw a double play that really lifted our spirits. We needed to find our offense again to regain the lead.

Rendon to the Rescue! 🦸‍♂️

After a bit of a drought, we found the spark in the bottom of the 5th inning. Anthony Rendon delivered a clutch single to left field, bringing home Taylor Ward and Zach Neto. A 3-2 lead and the stadium was alive! Big props to these heroes!

Locking It Down 🔒

Our pitching crew faced some pressure, but they got the job done. After Julio Rodríguez singled in the 8th, he was left stranded with a strikeout and a fly out to center field from Polanco. It was nail-biting!

Sam Bachman struck out the final batter in the 9th after making it very tense with a leadoff single. The double play was crucial!

Sweet Victory 🍾

When José Rojas struck out swinging to end the game, it was pure joy. Our Angels pulled off a win in what turned out to be a classic display of grit and timely hitting.

This win was a team effort, and everyone played their part. GO HALOS! 🎉

Stay tuned for more thrilling games, Angel nation!
