Marlins Come From Behind to Edge Mariners in Thrilling Finish! 
Last night's game against the Seattle Mariners was a nail-biter, but our Miami Marlins pulled off a clutch 3-2 victory in extra innings!
Early Struggles for the Marlins 
We started off slow with J.P. Crawford and Julio Rodriguez getting the job done for the Mariners in the 1st inning. Bryan De La Cruz showed some hustle with a double, but we couldn't bring him home. In the 2nd inning, France walked and then scored on a triple by Ryan Bliss. What a rough start!
Pitching Holds the Line 
Our pitching staff really settled into a groove after those early runs. Big shoutout to our bullpen! Rogers, Brazoban, Nardi, Faucher, Scott, and Bender all stepped up and kept the Mariners from doing any more damage. They struck out key batters and made clutch plays to keep the game close.
Marlins' Late Inning Magic 
In the bottom of the 6th, Bryan De La Cruz smashed a homer to center field, cutting the Mariners' lead to 2-1. Then, Josh Bell followed that up immediately with another bomb to center, tying the game at 2-2. Two home runs back-to-back got us back in the game!
Extra Inning Drama 
Things got tense in the extra innings. Haniger and pinch-hitters Rojas and Canzone couldn't get the job done for the Mariners as Bender held firm. In the bottom of the 10th, it was Tim Anderson who became the hero. With Jake Burger starting the inning at second, Anderson hit a clutch single to left field, allowing Burger to score the winning run! Game over, Marlins win 3-2!
