Tough Day for the Marlins 😢

It was a rough game for us Miami Marlins fans. The Mariners dominated from start to finish, leaving us scoreless in a 9-0 loss. 😔

1st Inning: Early Struggles

The game started with a series of unfortunate events. After J.P. Crawford singled and moved to third on a single by Josh Rojas, a wild pitch by Sandy Anderson gave Mariners their first run and advanced the runners. Another sacrifice fly by Cal Raleigh brought in the second run. We had our chances in the bottom of the inning, but Jazz Chisholm Jr. got out on a double play and Josh Bell struck out. Not a good start! 😤

2nd and 3rd Innings: Holding On

The Mariners kept the pressure on with a double by Ryan Bliss, but Anderson managed to get out of the inning without further damage. Sadly, our lineup didn’t fare much better. Jesus Sanchez got a single, but Tim Anderson hit into a double play. It was especially disheartening when our bats couldn’t get going even in the third inning. 💔

4th Inning: The Mariners Break Through

The Mariners extended their lead in a big way. A triple, a single, and a double quickly made it 3-0. Another single by Ryan Bliss added another run, and a fielding error by Josh Bell allowed two more runs to score, pushing the lead to 6-0. Our offense couldn’t respond, and we ended the inning still scoreless.

5th Inning: Mariners Keep Adding On

Dominic Canzone crushed a home run to right field making it 7-0. We kept struggling to get any momentum. Nick Gordon tried to spark something with a double in the 6th inning, but we just couldn't capitalize.

8th and 9th Innings: Sealing the Fate

The Mariners kept attacking. A double by Dylan Moore and another by Bliss made it 9-0. In the bottom of the 8th, Nick Fortes hit a double but was stranded on third. We made some defensive changes and brought in Emmanuel Rivera to pitch, but the story remained the same. No runs for the Marlins. 😩

Final Thoughts

It was a tough game for our Marlins. The Mariners outplayed us in every aspect. Here’s hoping we bounce back in the next game. Keep the faith, Marlins fans! 🌊🏟️⚾

Final Score: 9-0, Mariners Win
