The Twins showcased their defensive prowess by securing a 2-0 victory over the Seattle Mariners. Despite the game's slow start, our team delivered at crucial moments, sealing another victory for us in the heart of Minnesota. 
Pitching and Defense Steal the Show
Our starting pitcher set the tone early on, keeping the Mariners at bay. The first innings saw some patient play, with both teams drawing blanks until the dynamic duo of Varland and Jax relieved and continued to maintain control. Excitement built as the Mariners' batters repeatedly met their match against our powerful pitching! Duran then closed the game in style, seamlessly shutting down any hopes for a late comeback.
Buxton and Clemens Shine
Byron Buxton showed impressive form, hustling to reach base and setting up scoring opportunities. During the pivotal 6th inning, he put the Twins ahead, storming home on a crucial Castro single. As if winning wasn't enough, Kody Clemens treated fans to an exhilarating solo homer in the 7th, boosting our lead to 2-0 and sending the crowd into overdrive!
