Mets Secure Victory Over Mariners
The New York Mets triumphed over the Seattle Mariners with a 3-1 win at home, in what was a thrilling game for Mets fans. The team showed resilience and grit, thanks to key performances by our favorite players.
A Tough Start but a Strong Finish
Both teams had a shaky start, with neither side scoring in the first two innings. Our boys remained unfazed, with Francisco Lindor breaking the ice in the bottom of the third. He hit a crucial double that brought Brett Baty home, giving us the first lead of the game!
The Game-Changing Seventh Inning
The bottom of the seventh is where the magic truly happened. Brett Baty and Francisco Lindor started off strong, with Baty scoring on a sacrifice fly by Juan Soto. It didn't stop there – Pete Alonso smashed a double, sending Brandon Nimmo across home plate and extending the Mets’ lead to 3-0. Watching Alonso's performance tonight was an absolute delight!

Closing the Game in Style
A special shout-out to our pitching crew who managed to keep the Mariners at bay almost the entire game. G. Soto and Edwin Díaz did a stellar job with their relief efforts. Although Eugenio Suárez managed a solo homer in the top of the ninth, our defense was rock solid and clinched the victory for the Mets!
Overall, an exhilarating game and a fantastic win for us! Let's keep this momentum going, Mets!
