The game started with a muted offensive show from both sides, holding a scoreless grip until the bottom of the 3rd. But then, our bats came alive! Lawrence Butler's single set the stage before Nick Kurtz got a painful but handy free base. Then, boom! 
Brent Rooker swatted a massive homer to left field, bringing home Butler and Kurtz. Just like that, we were leading 3-0. Shea Langeliers joined the party with a solid double, followed by Miguel Andujar knocking Langeliers in with another sweet double. We were on fire, leading 4-0!Shutting Down the Mariners' Hopes 
The Mariners managed to get one back in the 4th inning, but our defense was adamant. José Alvarado and Sean Newcomb were instrumental out of the bullpen, ensuring Seattle's hitters were constantly under pressure. In the 5th, we didn't stop. Shea Langeliers blasted a homer to center, bringing the score to 5-1, swiftly giving us more security. Tyler Soderstrom followed with a single and Miguel Andujar came through again, doubling to bring Soderstrom home and raising the tally to 6-1. Our boys didn't just play; they executed.It was an amazing performance by the Athletics.
