A Strong Start in Philly!
What a fantastic win for our Phillies tonight, clinching the game 6-4 against the Seattle Mariners. The crowd was electric from the start, especially after Kyle Schwarber launched a solo homer in the first inning. His 404-foot blast to right center gave us the early momentum and set the tone for the game!
Building the Lead
By the time we got to the third inning, it was clutch plays that continued to build the Phillies' advantage. Bryson Stott showed his speed by stealing second base and then scoring on Bryce Harper's sacrifice fly, followed by J.T. Realmuto singling to bring Trea Turner home. We went up 3-1 after the third, and who could forget Stott hammering a solo shot in the fourth, giving us a comfortable 4-1 lead at that point.
A Nail-Biting Finish
The Mariners tried to stage a comeback in the 7th, tying us up at 4-4, but that's when the Phillies showed their resilience. The bottom of the 8th inning was nothing short of thrilling, as Realmuto smashed a 431-foot homer to bring Harper in. His two-run homer put us back in command. Huge effort from the bullpen in the 9th, closing the deal with Duran striking out Raleigh to end it. What a game, and what a testament to our boys! Let’s keep this momentum going, Phillies!

In conclusion, it was another great night of baseball at Citizens Bank Park. Let’s savor this victory and look forward to keeping the momentum alive! Go Phillies!
