Heartbreaker in San Francisco
Ah, Mariners fans, we were on the edge of our seats as the late innings unfolded, but alas, victory slipped through our fingers in an unforgettable 11-inning showdown against the Giants.
Making Strong Strides Early
We started with a bang when Julio Rodríguez knocked one out of the park with a solo homer in the first inning, giving us an early 1-0 lead.
A Tense Finish
The excitement reached a fever pitch as we moved into the later innings. Julio Rodríguez and Cal Raleigh turned the 6th inning into chaos, capitalizing on a Giants' fielding error to net us two runs and take the lead. Then, Jorge Polanco performed under pressure again, adding another RBI to make it an 8-6 advantage. Unfortunately, the Giants tied it back up by the 6th.Fast forward to the 11th inning, Luke Raley zoomed home on a wild pitch, sparking wild celebrations among Mariners fans (yes, we all jumped off the couch)!

The Crushing Finale
The tension was palpable. Despite sterling efforts from our relievers, the Giants were determined. With Matos and Fitzgerald on base, a single by Willy Adames brought them home, flipping the script with a final score of 10-9 in favor of the home team.
Though the game didn't tip in our favor, our Mariners displayed resilience and some incredible play! Let's keep cheering them on as they bounce back stronger than ever.
