A Dominant Display by the Rays
What a performance by the Tampa Bay Rays as they dominated the Seattle Mariners with a commanding 10-2 victory!
The game started slowly with both teams unable to mark the scoreboard in the first inning. However, the Rays quickly picked up steam in the second inning thanks to a stellar three-run homer from Nick Fortes—what a blast!Rays Offense Shines
The third inning saw the Rays extend their lead to 5-0, with Brandon Lowe's double and Junior Caminero's single adding two more to the board. The Mariners couldn’t find an answer to our relentless offense. Jake Mangum also stood out with a stellar performance, including an impressive infield single and a later double, showing off both his speed and hitting ability.
Sealing the Win
The Rays carried their momentum into the later innings, with a key 7th-inning rally fueled by a Yandy Díaz double and another crucial hit from Caminero, expanding the score to 8-0. Tristan Gray put the cherry on top with a massive 404-foot homer in the 8th; a two-run shot that took our lead to double digits!
The Mariners managed a late two-run homer from Leo Rivas in the 9th, but by then, the game was firmly in our hands. Our pitchers did a fantastic job keeping Seattle at bay, while every part of our lineup contributed to this impressive victory. Let's go Rays!
