Tough Day in Texas
As a Seattle Mariners fan, it's days like these that test your dedication. Our beloved team just couldn't find their rhythm against the Texas Rangers today, suffering a tough loss at 8-1. Despite a hopeful start, our bats fell silent in the Lone Star State.Early Hope in the Third Inning
There was a glimmer of hope in the third when Leo Rivas singled and stole second, setting up J.P. Crawford to reach base after a nifty infield single. Jorge Polanco then grounded out, but in the process, he allowed Rivas to capitalize and score our lone run of the game. Unfortunately, after that, it was difficult to get anything substantial going against the Rangers' pitching.Rangers' Response and Stacked Innings
The third inning proved to be a tough one defensively as the Rangers struck back fiercely. Corey Seager got them on the board with a key 2-RBI single, and they never looked back. By the end of the inning, they had already put up six runs against us, effectively setting the tone for the remainder of the game. Our bullpen worked hard to contain the damage, with Legumina and Bazardo putting in solid efforts after Evans and Webb took their shots.Closing Out with Determination
What can we say about our boys other than they gave it their all till the end? Whether it was Randy Arozarena hustling out a single in the sixth or Mitch Garver's patience at the plate, walking in the eighth, our guys fought through each inning. Even when the Rangers added two more runs in the eighth, we remained resilient. Sure, it was a rough game, but we'll bounce back. As always, we cheer for the Mariners through every high and low, proud of the perseverance they show! On to the next one, Mariners!
