Cardinals Crush Rockies 7-3! 
What a game, Cardinals Nation! Our boys came through with a solid 7-3 victory over the Colorado Rockies. Let's go over the key moments that led us to this sensational win.Quick Start in the 3rd Inning 
After a quiet first two innings, the top of the 3rd was where the magic began. Michael Siani got things rolling with a single to right and then stole second. Our young star Masyn Winn blasted a two-run homer to left, putting us on the scoreboard first. A beautiful 391-foot shot! 
Rockies Claw Back, But We Hold Steady 
The Rockies managed to tie it up at 2-2 in the 5th inning and even took a 3-2 lead. Aaron Schunk and Charlie Blackmon were really the only bright spots for the Rockies offense. Especially when Blackmon managed to drive in a run with a triple to center. But no worries, our pitching staff held their ground from there.Seventh Inning Stretch Heroics 
The top of the 7th inning was where things got spicy! Lars Nootbaar drew a walk and then we had Matt Carpenter come through as a clutch pinch hitter, driving Nootbaar to third with a double to right. A hustling Victor Scott II ran for Carpenter, and Alec Burleson came through again, bringing Nootbaar home to tie the game at 3-3.A Massive 8th Inning 
The top of the 8th inning was an offensive explosion. Nolan Arenado and Lars Nootbaar got on base, leading to Jordan Walker singling to left, bringing in Arenado. Scott II continued his great game by driving in Nootbaar, and then, oh boy, Masyn Winn doubled to right to drive in Walker and Scott II. This turned the game with a sound 7-3 lead. Winn was absolutely on fire! 
Sealing the Victory 
With a 4-run lead heading into the bottom of the 9th, Junior Fernandez came in to close it out and did just that. A couple of strikeouts and a final out to center field sealed the win for us. Job well done by the bullpen to ensure our lead stayed intact from the middle innings onwards. 
Final Thoughts 
This was a complete team effort ranging from stellar hits by Masyn Winn and Victor Scott II to solid relief pitching by King, Kittredge, Liberatore, and Fernandez. Way to go, Cards!
