What a game, Cards fans! Our St. Louis Cardinals triumph over the Colorado Rockies with a final score of 5-2. Let's dive into the highlights of this impressive win!Early Lead Holds Strong
Our boys started quietly in the 1st inning, but things got exciting in the 2nd. Ivan Herrera singled to left, providing the spark. Then Thomas Saggese came through with a clutch double, bringing Herrera home to score the first run of the game!

In the 3rd inning, Masyn Winn hit a fantastic triple to right, setting himself up to score on Brendan Donovan's sacrifice fly—extending our lead to 2-0. Winn's speed and smarts on the base paths continued to impress as he later doubled and scored again in the 5th after Paul Goldschmidt drove him in with a sacrifice fly.Consistent Pitching
Our pitching staff showed up ready to work today! The Rockies were limited to just one run through the first eight innings, with solid outings and key strikeouts in critical moments to keep their bats quiet. Big shoutout to Kittredge and Helsley for their efforts in maintaining the lead.Insurance Runs to Seal the Deal
The offense kept the pressure on, adding two more runs in the 4th and 6th innings. Pedro Pagés cracked a single in the 4th to score Jordan Walker, and then another RBI single in the 6th to bring in Herrera. Those extra runs provided the cushion we needed.
Rockies’ Late Homers Not Enough
The Rockies managed to sneak a home run in the bottom of the 9th by Brenton Doyle, making it 5-2. But our bullpen stood firm, with Ryan Helsley sealing the deal by inducing a double play to end the game!Player Highlights
