What a Comeback, Cardinals! 
Our beloved St. Louis Cardinals fought hard to pull off a dramatic 5-3 win against the Los Angeles Dodgers! What a game! The Dodgers gave us a run for our money, but we held strong and took home the victory. Let's break down the action-packed night!
Dodgers Draw First Blood
The game seemed evenly matched at the start, with both teams keeping the scoreboard clean in the first couple of innings. But in the bottom of the 3rd inning, Shohei Ohtani hit a two-run homer to center that gave the Dodgers a brief 2-1 lead. Ohtani, we expected nothing less from you! Luckily, Thomas Saggese and our defensive crew were quick to limit their damage afterward.
Determined Spirits and Unyielding Drive 
Despite falling behind, our guys did not back down. In the top of the 6th inning, the sacrifice from Lars Nootbaar brought home Ivan Herrera, narrowing the Dodgers’ lead to just one run at 3-2.
Then the magic unfolded in the 8th inning! Alec Burleson clutched a single to start our rally. Errors by Alex Freeland allowed Jordan Walker to get on the scoreboard, sending us ahead to a lead we'd hold onto with pride!
Innings of Glorious Defense and Offense 
Shout out to our pitching staff who showed up big time! Matthew Liberatore, Leahy, and O’Brien kept the Dodger bats mostly silent, but it was Walker's heroics in the 8th and the late-inning defensive prowess that stole the show.
In the top of the 9th, Lars Nootbaar sealed the victory with an RBI double. Hats off to him and Masyn Winn for their clutch performances.
