Another Tough Loss For The Marlins
Hey Marlins fans, it was a tough day at the office for us as we fell 8-3 to the St. Louis Cardinals. Our boys gave it a fight, but it just wasn't meant to be today.A Promising Start
We kicked things off in the bottom of the 1st with Otto Lopez doubling to right field. Shortly after, Agustin Ramirez singled him to third. Our man Jakob Marsee came up big with a sacrifice fly to bring Lopez home, putting us up 1-0.

In the bottom of the 4th, Eric Wagaman gave us a glimmer of hope as he belted a solo homer to center field.
Our guys weren't backing down easily! Then in the 6th, Agustin Ramirez doubled, and Jakob Marsee doubled again to bring Ramirez home and tie it up at 3-3. We were right back in it! 
Cardinals Surge to Victory
Unfortunately, the top of the 7th saw the Cardinals make the most of their opportunities, taking back the lead off a series of unfortunate plays and errors. By the 9th inning, Nolan Gorman sealed it for St. Louis with a homer. It seemed everything clicked for them towards the end, bringing the final score to 8-3 against us.Final Thoughts
A tough game for sure, but let's not hang our heads. There were bright spots - like Wagaman's blast and the crucial plays by Lopez and Marsee.
Our team will learn and bounce back stronger. Go Marlins!
