A Tough Outing Against the Cardinals
Our beloved Milwaukee Brewers gave it their all, but the game against the St. Louis Cardinals was an uphill battle from the start. The Cardinals took an early lead in the first inning when Alec Burleson singled to center, allowing Masyn Winn to score. Despite our hustle, the Brewers couldn't quite get on the board just yet.Bright Spots in the Lineup
In the 4th inning, there was a spark of hope as Jackson Chourio tripled to right and scored on a passed ball. It looked like momentum was swinging our way, especially after a gutsy 5th inning rally! Sal Frelick doubled, driving in two big runs, followed by Chourio's single bringing home Frelick. The Brewers narrowed the gap to 4-7, and our bats showed signs of life.The Final Push
The Cardinals extended their lead with a 5th inning homer from Nolan Gorman that certainly stung
, but our squad never gave up. In the bottom of the 9th, William Contreras dazzled us with a homer to left field! Alas, the final push was not enough, and the game concluded with a score of 5-8. Chins up, Brewers fans! Every game is a step closer to our potential. Let's rally behind our team and bring that Brewers spirit to the next matchup!
