Game Recap: Brewers Dominate the Cardinals
Brewers fans, we witnessed a spectacular performance today against the St. Louis Cardinals, where our beloved team secured an 8-2 victory!
️Pitching and Defense Shine Early
The game started off with some strong defensive plays from both sides, taking us through the first two innings with both teams scoreless. Quinn Priester and our defense made some key plays, including a double play in the top of the first and an impressive fielder's choice by Brice Turang.Explosive 3rd Inning
The Brewers took the lead in an explosive bottom of the third inning. Jake Bauers and Caleb Durbin worked the walks, then Joey Ortiz laid down a perfect bunt to load the bases. Sal Frelick walked, earning the first run. Then, a sacrifice fly by Jackson Chourio with a little help from a throwing error brought two more runs home.

We continued to ride that momentum with Isaac Collins scoring off a beautiful double by Bauers in the fourth inning, extending our lead to 5-0. It was an intense game, and the Cardinals managed to score two runs in the sixth inning, but our bullpen did an amazing job containing their offense!Sealing the Victory
The bottom of the seventh inning had us leaping with joy! Christian Yelich launched a jaw-dropping 432-foot homer to center after Turang advanced on a passed ball, adding two more to our score!
What a moment! We added an insurance run in the eighth thanks to an error and great base running, scoring Ortiz.Closing It Out
Zastryzny took over in the ninth and shut the door on the Cardinals with precision, sealing the win for our Brewers! Winning against a divisional rival like the Cardinals is always sweet. Today, we can celebrate an all-around great performance. It’s moments like these that make us proud to support our Brewers!
