Despite lagging behind, our Brewers showed grit. We only got on the scoreboard in the 3rd when Jake Bauers's clever run gives us our first taste of hope. Trailing 7-4 in the bottom of the 9th inning, the 'never say die' spirit kicked in. Sal Frelick led the charge with a double to center, bringing home Caleb Durbin and Andruw Monasterio—the catalyst for the comeback. Jackson Chourio followed up with a crucial infield single, leveling the score to an electrifying 7-7! Tension soared in the 10th when our bullpen gave up another run. But our resilient squad wouldn't let that stand. Blake Perkins dashed in to score off Caleb Durbin’s double, setting the stage for Andruw Monasterio to bring it home with a single to center. Game-winning runs never felt this sweet!
