But we drew first blood in the 2nd inning thanks to a terrific double from Brendan Donovan and an RBI single by Jordan Walker. By the 5th inning, the Yankees closed in, making it 7-5. Their aggressive base running and errors in our defense gave them hope, but Walker’s monstrous 422-foot home run returned our focus and extended our lead further.

With the game tied, our bats exploded in the 7th inning. Lars Nootbaar's colossal hit brought in three runs, Victor Scott II doubled to further extend the lead, and we capitalized on a throwing error for another run. By the end of the inning, our lead surged to 12-7. Absolutely fantastic!Sealing the Deal with Power Hitting! 
As the Yankees failed to mount any significant return, Walker and Nootbaar solidified our victory with an outstanding 429-foot two-run homer in the 9th inning. Final score, a thrilling 14-7 win for the Cardinals.
