Our Oakland Athletics took on the St. Louis Cardinals and came out on top with a thrilling 6-3 win. Let me break down the action for all my fellow A’s enthusiasts who want to relive the excitement or anyone who might've missed out.Early Inning Drama
The game started off tense, with neither team able to score in the first couple of innings. Both teams' pitchers were throwing fire, especially in the 2nd inning when the Cardinals got all strikes, showing us that it wasn’t going to be easy. The 3rd inning was where the magic started! Esteury Ruiz hit a massive homer to left-center, scoring Max Schuemann and putting the first two runs on the board for the A's.
