Hey Cubs fans! What a rollercoaster of a game against the Tampa Bay Rays! The Cubs pulled off a solid 6-4 victory at Wrigley Field! Let's dive into the highlights of the game that kept us on the edge of our seats.
A Rocky Start but Quick Comeback!

The game started with a bit of a hiccup for the Cubs as former Cubbie, Christopher Morel, launched a three-run homer in the top of the 1st inning
. But our Cubbies didn't let that rattle them and showed incredible resilience. In a thrilling bottom of the 2nd inning, Dansby Swanson hit a clutch double to bring Nico Hoerner home, and Michael Busch along with Ian Happ added RBIs to tie the score at 3-3! 
Taking the Lead and Keeping It! 
The momentum carried over to the 3rd inning, as Moises Ballesteros delivered an electrifying triple to score Hoerner. Matt Shaw added another run with a fielder's choice, giving us a lead of 5-3! It was Ian Happ again in the 4th, who extended our lead to 6-4 with a solo homer that soared over the right field (370 feet)!

A Fantastic Finish! 
The Cubbies bullpen was impeccable, systematically shutting down the Rays’ lineup inning after inning. Shout out to our pitchers for keeping the Rays at bay and holding on to our lead. Ian Happ was exceptional today, contributing both defensively and offensively.
