The excitement never ends when our beloved Yankees take the field against the Rays, and this game was no exception! It was a quiet start with both teams not scoring through the first two innings. Despite consistent defensive pressure from the Rays, we finally managed to clinch a 5-4 victory in an incredible extra-inning thriller. A Battle of Strengths
The Yankees found themselves trailing 1-0 through most of the game. The third inning brought some sparks with a Ryan McMahon double, but it wasn't until the 8th inning that things started heating up! Trent Grisham ignited the rally with a homer and Giancarlo Stanton driving in Oswald Peraza to take a 2-1 lead. However, the Rays quickly retaliated in the 9th inning with a homer by their Josh Lowe.Extra-Inning Comeback 
Tensions escalated as the game moved into overtime. A well-placed triple by Cody Bellinger in the 10th tied the game, rekindling hope. But it was Ryan McMahon's clutch single in the 11th that brought Jazz Chisholm Jr. home, sealing an exhilarating 5-4 win for the Yankees. Let's give credit to the team's resilience and never-give-up spirit that led to this amazing triumph. Go Yanks!
