We got on the board early in the 2nd inning thanks to some smart baserunning and timely hitting. Jonah Heim roped a single to right, and after a walk to Leody Taveras, Andrew Knizner came through with a clutch single to center, bringing Heim home for the first run of the game. Jonathan Ornelas struck out to end the inning, but we were already up 1-0!Adding One More in the 3rd
Starting off the bottom of the 3rd, Marcus Semien walked, and Corey Seager singled to advance him. A passed ball allowed both runners to advance, setting the stage for Nathaniel Lowe, who delivered with a single to center to score Semien. We doubled our lead to 2-0. Although Adolis García flied out and Wyatt Langford grounded into a double play to end the inning, the damage was done!Rays Take the Lead in the 7th
Things got tense in the 7th inning when Yandy Díaz hit a 373-foot homer, scoring two runners to give the Rays a 3-2 lead. They piled on with a couple of singles and even a new pinch hitter, but our bullpen managed to stop the bleeding.Semien to the Rescue in the 7th!
Bottom of the 7th, with two outs and Leody Taveras on first, Marcus Semien stepped up and crushed a 422-foot homer to left-center, bringing Taveras home and flipping the score back in our favor, 4-3! The crowd went wild! Corey Seager followed with an infield single, but Nathaniel Lowe flied out to end the inning.Nail-Biting Finish in the 9th!
Entering the 9th with a one-run lead, our bullpen delivered again. Kirby Yates retired the side with a flyout to center and left, and a lineout back to the pitcher from Ben Rortvedt. The Rangers held on to win 4-3!What a game, Rangers fans! Let's keep this momentum going! ️
