Exciting Start for the Rays!
What a fantastic start for our Tampa Bay Rays in the top of the 1st inning! Chandler Simpson got it rolling with a bunt single, setting up what would be a stellar inning. Although Yandy Diaz grounded into a double play, Brandon Lowe kept the action alive with a single to center. Then came the highlight of the inning—Junior Caminero walked, paving the way for Josh Lowe to smash a massive home run to center

Defense Holds Strong
Our defense showed its prowess as well, as we denied the Nationals any scoring in the first few innings. Riley Adams and Daylen Lile were swiftly handled in the second inning, with some excellent pitching keeping hitters at bay. CJ Abrams did manage a couple of walks and successful steals, but the Nationals couldn't capitalize on these moments with our consistent pitching and fielding. Josh Lowe Shines Again
Josh Lowe wasn't finished, as he gave us another reason to cheer in the top of the 4th! Crushing a solo homer to center, it added another run to our tally, taking the score to 4-0 in our favor. His performance was electric to say the least!Nationals Attempt to Fight Back
The Nationals did rally slightly in the bottom of the 8th, with Luis García Jr. scoring on a single by James Wood. But as Chris Jax came in to relieve Jonathan Englert, he efficiently shut down their comeback attempt by striking out CJ Abrams and Paul DeJong, followed by getting Josh Bell (with Jacob Young pinch-running) out on a grounder to third.
Closing It Out
Finishing strong, our bullpen sealed the deal with Chase Baker shutting down the Nationals lineup in the 9th. With groundouts taking care of Daylen Lile and Luis García Jr., and a crucial strikeout of Dylan Crews, we comfortably secured the win with a final score of 4-1. A fantastic team performance and another victory in the books for the Rays! Go Rays!
