Early Lead in the First Inning
What an incredible start for our Diamondbacks! Ketel Marte got things rolling with a double to left. Then, Corbin Carroll tripled to center, bringing Marte home. But the fireworks didn't stop there—Randal Grichuk crushed a homer (420 feet) to bring Carroll in as well.
Second Inning Dominance
Our bats stayed hot in the second inning! Eugenio Suárez led off with a solo homer (426 feet). Adrian Del Castillo doubled, and then Marte singled to bring him home. It felt like we couldn't be stopped. By the end of the inning, we had a comfortable 5-0 lead.
Rangers' Brief Comeback in the Third and Fourth Inning
The Rangers did manage to get on the board in the third inning with a solo homer from Marcus Semien, and then another run in the fourth inning. However, Ketel Marte responded with a three-run homer in the bottom of the fourth, extending our lead to 8-2. Way to shut them down, Marte!
Huge Fifth Inning Seals the Deal
Just when the Rangers seemed to have a little momentum, Adrian Del Castillo smashed a three-run homer, making it 11-4 by the end of the fifth inning. The depth in our lineup showed with everyone contributing in some way. Keep it up, fellas!Sixth to Seventh Inning Stability
Our bullpen stepped up big time to keep the Rangers at bay. In the 6th inning, Christian Walker doubled to bring in Corbin Carroll. Eugenio Suárez added another solo shot in the 7th inning, his second of the game, making it 13-4. What a day for Suárez!
Finishing Strong in the Eighth Inning
Rangers tried shuffling their defense, but it didn’t matter. Luis Guillorme came in later and doubled to right. Grichuk followed up with another double, bringing Guillorme home and extending our lead to 14-4. There was no doubt about our dominance today!
Shutting Down the Ninth Inning
[ b]Pavin Smith[/b] took over at first base for defense, and our pitchers ensured there were no further hiccups. The Rangers managed to get one man on base, but quickly grounded into a double play. Sandro Fabian finished off grounding out to second base. Game over, Diamondbacks win 14-4. What a fantastic team performance! We are on fire, D-backs fans!
