Mid-Inning Struggles
The 5th and 6th innings were rough, as both Adolis García and Wyatt Langford couldn't find their footing. Our only highlight in the 7th was Josh Smith getting a double, but we couldn't capitalize on it. The Orioles added insult to injury with Adley Rutschman hitting a solo homer in the 7th, bringing the score to 9-1.Late Rally Efforts Fall Short
We saw a ray of hope in the 8th with Josh Smith and Nathaniel Lowe combining to bring one more run home, making it 9-2. Jonah Heim also chipped in with a single, but our momentum was short-lived. Colton Cowser hit a homer for the Orioles in the 8th, and they extended their lead to 11-2.Final Inning Woes
Hopes for a last-minute rally were dashed in the 9th when Leody Taveras, Davis Wendzel, and Corey Seager were all quickly retired by the Orioles' bullpen. The game ended with a disappointing 2-11 loss.Let's keep our heads up, Rangers fans! We'll bounce back stronger next game! Go Rangers!
