The game started off with strong defensive plays from both teams. In the top of the 1st inning, Marcus Semien, Josh Smith, and Robbie Grossman were unable to get on base. However, our pitcher made sure the Orioles didn’t get an early lead either.
Hill’s First Heroics
The action really kicked off in the top of the 2nd inning. After some initial struggles with getting on base, Adolis García was hit by a pitch, paving way for Nathaniel Lowe on a fielder's choice. Then, Derek Hill stepped up to the plate and blasted a 414-foot homer!
Lowe scored, bringing the score to 2-0.Fourth Inning Rally
Driving into the top of the 4th inning, Wyatt Langford tripled to set up perfect scoring opportunities. Lowe singled to bring Langford home, followed by a single from Andrew Knizner that scored Lowe. Josh Smith’s single added another run, making it a 5-1 lead!
Fifth Inning Explosion 
Our bats caught fire again in the 5th inning! García doubled, followed by a double from Langford scoring another run. Lowe then singled to bring Langford home and Hill once again delivered an electrifying 436-foot home run. The score quickly rocketed to 8-2!
Langford’s Monster Home Run!
In the top of the 8th inning, after a fielding error and a walk, Wyatt Langford shined once more with a 404-foot homer that brought in 3 more runs! The score further extended to a fabulous 11-2.
Closing Out in Style
Our pitching was phenomenal throughout, keeping the Orioles at bay. In the bottom of the 9th inning, Jonathan Ornelas and Travis Jankowski entered the field. Despite a single by Hays, our defense ensured the Orioles couldn't add to their score, sealing our emphatic victory!
