The game started off as a pitcher's duel, with both teams' hitters struggling to get on base. The first few innings flew by with zero runs on the board, keeping everyone on the edge of their seats. Our Rockies had some promising moments early on with Ryan McMahon walking and Elias Díaz singling in the 1st, but we couldn't convert it into a score.
Rockies Break Through
The deadlock was finally broken in the bottom of the 5th when Elias Díaz brought home Ezequiel Tovar with a single to right, giving the Rockies a 1-0 lead.
However, the Rangers quickly responded with Corey Seager homering in the 6th to even the score. Things looked dicey in the 7th when the Rangers pulled ahead 2-1, thanks to some shakiness from our bullpen. 
An Epic Comeback
But our Rockies didn't let that lead hold them back! In a nerve-racking 8th inning, the ever-reliable Charlie Blackmon came through with a clutch double, bringing in Brenton Doyle and Jake Cave to snatch the lead back at 4-2. This was the moment we were all waiting for!
Closing it Out
With the Rockies up 4-2 going into the 9th, the atmosphere was electric. The bullpen stepped up, with Jalen Beeks shutting down the Rangers, ensuring a Rockies victory. It was a heart-pounding finish, but our Rockies showed their resilience and fighting spirit.
Walking away with a win against the Rangers, this game was a testament to the Rockies' never-say-die attitude. From Elias Díaz's crucial hits to Charlie Blackmon's game-changing double, it was a team effort through and through. Let's carry this energy through the rest of the season! Go, Rockies!
