The game began with a statement from our pitching staff. The Rangers struggled right away as they faced the Astros' precision. The first inning was smooth sailing for our boys, as our pitcher struck out three in a row.
In the bottom of the 1st, the Astros' offense got on the board early with Jeremy Peña's single followed by a booming double by Carlos Correa. Jose Altuve brought them home with a critical sacrifice fly. Christian Walker further added to the tally in the 3rd with a ground out that allowed Peña to score—putting the Astros' score at 2-0.

Taking Control in the 4th
The offense exploded in the 4th inning! The fans were on their feet as Yainer Diaz ripped a double, scoring Jake Meyers. Then, Jesus Sanchez brought in two more with a fantastic single.
