A Dominant Performance!

What a game, Halos fans! The Los Angeles Angels showed up big time against the Texas Rangers with a decisive 7-2 victory. This win was especially sweet as we saw solid performances from all aspects of our game. 🌟

Moniak's Monster Homer

The second inning was where the magic happened. With bases loaded, Zach Neto singled to right, bringing Brandon Drury home. The Rangers' right fielder made a fielding error, allowing Matt Thaiss to advance. But the highlight was Mickey Moniak smashing a 387-foot homer that had Angels fans on their feet, bringing in Thaiss and Neto. Way to go, Moniak! 🚀

Pitchers on Point

Our pitchers were lights out! Canning looked strong until the 5th inning. The only blip was a 2-run homer by the Rangers' Leody Taveras. However, our bullpen stepped up. Crouse, Strickland, and Marte kept the Rangers at bay, each delivering crucial outs when needed.

Neto’s Late Heroics

Just when the Rangers started to think they might have a chance, Zach Neto put the game firmly out of reach with a spectacular 387-foot homer to left center in the bottom of the eighth, bringing in Brandon Drury and solidifying our lead at 7-2. Neto's combination of defense and offensive power is invaluable. 💪

Closing the Game

Estévez took the mound in the 9th, and it was a wrap! He made quick work of the Rangers, getting Jankowski to ground out to third, Semien to foul out to first, and Seager to ground out to first. The final inning was over in a flash, sealing our victory.

Next Up

What a game! With this energy, we’re looking forward to our next matchup. Keep the faith, Angels fans, because this team shows us they can perform in all facets of the game! 🔥👼

Let’s keep the momentum going! Go Halos! 🎉
