Exciting Start for the Rangers
What a fantastic start for our Texas Rangers!
In the top of the 1st inning, Josh Smith set the tone with a walk, and Wyatt Langford followed it up with a single. Corey Seager's grounded play might have stung as Langford got tagged out at second, but it paved the way for Adolis García, who smashed a double to bring in Smith. A sacrifice fly by Marcus Semien saw Seager cross home plate, putting us up 2-0 early. Way to go, Rangers! 
Middle Innings Dominance
The middle innings were all about flexing our batting muscles. Wyatt Langford's solo homer in the third and Josh Smith's blast in the fifth left the Athletics trailing. And how about Marcus Semien's three-run homer in the fifth?
That was a sight to behold, extending our lead to 7-2. Jake Burger added more sizzle with his solo shot in the sixth, making it 8-2. Pure magic! 
Closing the Game with Style
Though the Athletics did fight back in the late innings, our defense held strong. Clutch pitching helped us stave off their comeback attempts. R. Garcia came in the 8th to settle things down after the A's got two more on the board, and Jackson closed it out in the 9th. A tremendous 8-5 victory for the Rangers on the road! Outstanding team effort and superb use of the lineup, showcasing our depth. Confidence remains high as we move forward. Let's keep rolling, Rangers!
