A Tough Night for the Athletics
Fellow A's fans, it was a challenging game against the Rangers as we ended up on the wrong side of a 9-3 final score. Despite a couple of amazing moments from our squad, the Rangers managed to exert dominance throughout the night.Bright Spots in the Lineup
Let's start with the positives because there were some highlights! In the bottom of the 3rd inning, our very own Lawrence Butler smashed an electrifying home run right to center, over 440 feet! What a sight! Moments later, Brent Rooker followed suit with a stellar home run to left-center that traveled 405 feet. Those back-to-back dingers were a reminder of how much power our team can pack.

Missed Opportunities and Tough Defense
While there were sparks of brilliance, unfortunately, our bats couldn’t keep up with the Rangers' offense. Our boys, J.J. Bleday, Shea Langeliers, and Zack Gelof, had a tough outing at the plate, with our hits few and far between key situations. Kudos to Carlos Cortes for his performance with a double that brought J.J. Bleday home in the 7th, keeping our spirits high.
The Road Ahead
Although the Rangers put up a strong performance, there's no quitting for our A's! It's been a season of growing pains, but each game is another opportunity for improvement. As we move forward, let’s keep supporting, cheering, and believing in the potential of our young squad. Let's shake off tonight and look forward to the next game. See you all at the coliseum!

Go A’s!
