What a nail-biter of a game we had against the Seattle Mariners! With extra innings and back-and-forth drama, the Texas Rangers came out on top with a final score of 6-4, cementing our place as road warriors and proving once again why Texas is a force to reckon with! The game got rolling for us in the 3rd inning, thanks to a stellar performance from Kyle Higashioka. His two-run homer to left center (381 feet) brought home Rowdy Tellez and gave us the early lead, 2-0. While both teams played solid defense and managed to keep the tension high, the Mariners caught up in the 6th inning. After capitalizing on a couple of miscues, they tied it 2-2, halting our lead. Into the 10th we went, knotted 2-2. That’s when the magic happened. Ezequiel Duran came in as a pinch runner, and Higashioka knocked in a crucial single that gave us the edge we needed. With a 4-2 lead, the Mariners fought back with a homer from Arozarena to make it 4-4. But the Rangers' resilience shone bright! In the 11th, Wyatt Langford and Duran secured runs to put us back ahead 6-4.
Closing it Out Like Champs
Our bullpen was lights out, especially Luis Curvelo, who sent Mariners hitters packing to officially seal the deal for the Texas Rangers. A shoutout to everyone who played a part in this hard-fought victory—keeping our momentum rolling as we look forward to our next matchup!
