Heartbreaking Loss in Seattle 😢

Oh boy, Rangers fans, it was a rough one last night. Our boys took on the Mariners in Seattle and unfortunately, came up short with a final score of 0-5.

Slow Start for the Rangers 🚫

The game began with a series of outs that set a frustrating tone. Marcus Semien, Corey Seager, and Adolis García all went down quickly in the top of the 1st. Our pitching was solid early on, with Dane Dunning striking out three Mariners in the bottom of the 2nd inning 💪.

Missed Opportunities 😬

In the 3rd, Andrew Knizner managed a single to left, but we couldn't capitalize on it. Nathaniel Lowe doubled in the 4th but was left stranded. It was clear we needed those key hits to drive in runs.

Tough Breaks 😓

Seattle's Mitch Haniger doubled in the bottom of the 4th, followed by another double from Luke Raley that brought Haniger home. By the middle of the game, we were down 0-2 due to a wild pitch by Dunning that allowed Josh Rojas to score in the 5th.

Late Game Woes 😖

Things didn't improve in the later innings. A homer by Seattle's Tyler Locklear in the 7th extended their lead. We struggled to make contact and struck out several times, with Travis Jankowski, Ezequiel Duran, and Leody Taveras all going down swinging. The Mariners added two more runs in the 8th, thanks to an unfortunate wild pitch and clutch hits by Dominic Canzone.

Final Push Falls Short 😔

In the 9th inning, we brought in Travis Voth, but the Mariners' bullpen held strong. Andrew Knizner, Marcus Semien, and Corey Seager were all unable to muster a late-game rally. A tough end to a tough game.

Looking Ahead 🌟

We’ll be back, Rangers Nation! Let's keep our heads up and look forward to the next game where we can turn things around. Go Rangers! 💙❤️⚾
