Tough Loss for the Blue Jays
Fellow Blue Jays fans, it was a tough game to watch as we fell to the Baltimore Orioles with a final score of 2-6. Our boys just couldn't find their rhythm, and Baltimore's pitching shut us down effectively.A Rocky Start
The first inning didn’t set the tone we hoped for. George Springer popped out to second, Daulton Varsho struck out swinging, and while Vladimir Guerrero Jr. gave us a glimmer of hope with a single to right, Spencer Horwitz followed up with a strikeout. The Orioles quickly scored with Anthony Santander's double, bringing in Gunnar Henderson. Not how we wanted to start!Middle Innings Struggles
By the third inning, things were looking even more grim as we still hadn't scored. The Orioles added to their lead thanks to Ramón Urías's homer and some strategic hits. Our pitchers had their hands full, with Chris Bassitt getting replaced by Little in the fifth. We finally got on the board in the fourth when Alejandro Kirk hit a sacrifice fly allowing Guerrero Jr. to score, but we still trailed 1-4.Late Game Hopes Dashed
Varsho kept hope alive with a double in the seventh, allowing Steward Berroa to score, making it 6-2. Unfortunately, we couldn’t capitalize beyond this. The Orioles' bullpen, led by Domínguez, shut us out in the ninth, striking out both Leo Jiménez and Berroa to seal our fate.Looking Ahead
It wasn’t the outcome we wanted, but there’s always another game. We’ve seen flashes of brilliance from Guerrero Jr. and Varsho, and we know our team can bounce back. Let’s hope for a better performance next time. Keep the faith, Blue Jays fans!End of the game; Orioles Score: 6, Blue Jays Score: 2
