Tough Game Against the Blue Jays
Well, folks, our beloved Red Sox battled hard at Fenway tonight, but it just wasn't enough as the Toronto Blue Jays emerged victorious with a 6-2 win. The Blue Jays' bats were alive and they proved too much for our pitching staff.Some Highlights
There were a few bright spots for our Sox, with Jarren Duran showing off his wheels and hot bat again, notching two doubles and creating scoring opportunities. Rafael Devers also chipped in with a sacrifice fly in the 3rd inning, driving in Ceddanne Rafaela, and Triston Casas brought some life late with an RBI single in the bottom of the 8th, but it wasn't enough to catch Toronto.Blue Jays' Strong Offense
The Blue Jays' offense was relentless, as George Springer and Vladimir Guerrero Jr. consistently put pressure on our pitchers, both delivering crucial hits. Unfortunately, a few errors and missed opportunities on our side didn’t help our cause, allowing the Blue Jays to pad their lead.Looking Forward
