Blue Jays’ Bats Come Alive in 9-4 Win Over Red Sox
What a game, folks! The Toronto Blue Jays put on a show at Fenway Park and beat the Boston Red Sox 9-4, thanks to some timely hitting and solid pitching. ️Offensive Explosion in the 3rd Inning
The action really heated up in the 3rd inning. After a slow start, the Blue Jays' bats came alive. Danny Jansen got things rolling with a double, and Isiah Kiner-Falefa followed up with a bunt single. Then, it was Kevin Kiermaier who singled to right, causing a throwing error that allowed both Jansen and Kiner-Falefa to score. Talk about chaos on the bases!Bo Bichette walked, Spencer Horwitz walked, and then Vladimir Guerrero Jr. came through with a clutch double to score two more. The rally continued with a groundout from Justin Turner that brought another run home, followed by George Springer blasting a two-run homer. By the end of the inning, the Blue Jays had a 7-2 lead.
Insurance Runs and Solid Pitching
The Blue Jays didn't stop there. In the 4th inning, Vladimir Guerrero Jr. did it again with another 2-run double, extending the lead to 9-2.On the mound, the Jays were just as impressive. While Rafael Devers and Tyler O'Neill tried to mount a comeback for the Red Sox, with Devers hitting a homer and O'Neill following suit with a 2-run shot in the 6th inning, the bullpen shut down any further threat. Big shoutout to Little and Richards who threw some scoreless innings to keep Boston at bay.
