After Davis Schneider walked and Daulton Varsho choked a bit at bat, our powerhouse Vladimir Guerrero Jr. singled to left, setting the stage for Bo Bichette to bring Schneider home with another single. That's where we first tasted the lead, and oh, did it feel good!
Jays Increase the Lead
As we rolled into the 4th inning, the determination was palpable. George Springer walked, followed by hits from Alejandro Kirk and Isiah Kiner-Falefa, pushing our lead to 2-0. Kiner-Falefa's fielder's choice in the 6th inning added another run, giving us a comfortable lead at 3-0.
