Game Start: Twins Off to a Promising Beginning!
The game kicked off with a strong note from our boys!
Building Momentum: Second Inning Surge!
The second inning saw Brooks Lee and Royce Lewis combining beautifully with a single and a double respectively, setting up Kody Clemens for an RBI ground out. Christian Vázquez then stepped up with a powerful double to bring Lewis home. We went into the third inning holding a convincing 3-0 lead. Let's go Twins!Midgame Struggles and Resilience
The Blue Jays clawed back fiercely. Addison Barger's two-run homer in the fourth cut our lead. Moments later, Bo Bichette singled in the fifth, bringing two more runners home, pushing them ahead 4-3. Despite a valiant effort by our defense, George Springer's homer in the sixth stretched their lead further to 5-3.
Late Inning Efforts and Never Giving Up!
As the game edged on, Royce Lewis brought us back in the eighth with a clutch RBI single. Unfortunately, the Blue Jays responded immediately with a run in the top of the 8th. Heading into the ninth inning trailing 6-4, our line-up showed grit! Byron Buxton earned a walk with two outs, keeping our hopes alive - but sadly, the game slipped through our fingers in the end. A tough battle, but great effort by our squad nonetheless! We'll get them next time!

Final Thoughts: Heads Held High
Despite the 6-4 loss, there were remarkable performances from our players. Larnach’s early home run, Vázquez’s and Lewis’s run-producing hits, all pointed to the fighting spirit of our Minnesota Twins. It's all about learning and moving forward with determination. Next game, we bounce back stronger!
