Bryce Harper signalled the start with a strong single to left, quickly followed by Nick Castellanos doubling to left, allowing Harper to score the first run.

In the 2nd inning, Clemens blasted a homer to right (383 feet), bringing in Bryson Stott to score and pushing the Phillies to a 3-0 lead. But Clemens didn't stop there; he tripled in the 4th, allowing Edmundo Sosa to score, and then later squeezed in another run in the 8th. Clemens was on fire!
