Electric First Inning for Blue Jays! ⚡

Our boys came out swinging in the top of the 1st inning! George Springer got us started with a single to left. Spencer Horwitz followed up with a single to center, and after a fielding error by center fielder Heliot Ramos, both Springer and Horwitz advanced bases! Vladimir Guerrero Jr. then grounded out but managed to bring Springer home. A sacrifice fly by Justin Turner scored Horwitz, and just when we thought it couldn't get better, Danny Jansen crushed a solo homer to left! It was a 3-0 lead right out of the gate! 🚀

Giants Answer Back

The Giants didn't stay quiet for long, with Heliot Ramos hitting a two-run homer in the bottom of the 1st, making it 3-2. But our pitching held up, with the inning ending without further damage.

Steady as She Goes

In the top of the 4th, Leo Jimenez delivered a clutch single to center, scoring Davis Schneider to extend our lead to 4-2. Then, in the 5th, Spencer Horwitz hit a massive solo homer to right, making it 5-2. The Giants had no answer for our relentless offense today!

Shutdown Defense

Our pitching crew was lights out! Kevin Gausman and the bullpen did a fantastic job of holding the Giants to just two runs through eight innings. Zach Pop and Chad Green came in to shut things down late in the game. The only blemish was a solo homer by Mike Yastrzemski in the bottom of the 9th, but by then, it was too late for the Giants.
